The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2022. The FMGE test is held biannually in June and December by the National Board of Examinations for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India to get a certificate of registration from the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council. The authority has released the FMGE December 2022 session result at nbe.edu.in. Candidates will be able to retrieve their FMGE 2022 December session scorecard on or after February 10, 2023. 

The FMGE 2022 results list the candidates' roll numbers, scores, and eligibility status. The screening test is only open to candidates who received at least 150 out of a possible 300. Personal information, FMGE scores, and other details will be included on the scorecard for the December session of the FMGE 2022. You can download your FMGE 2022 scorecard by providing your login information. 

Foreign medical graduate examination was introduced in 2002 and is administered by the National Board of Examination. It is intended for Indian students who have finished their MBBS in another country but desire to practice in India. When registering for FMGE, a student must present an eligibility certificate given by the Medical Council of India at the time of admission to a foreign medical university. If a student has completed an MBBS course in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America, he or she does not need to take the screening test because they can register directly with MCI and SMC.

Steps to download FMGE 2022 Result: 

• Visit the official website www.nbe.edu.in
• On the homepage, click on ‘FMGE’ tab
• A new page will open, select December 2022 Result
• A PDF of the result will open on the screen
• Check and download the result
• Take a printout of the same for future reference

NOTE: The FMGE 2023 result will be displayed in PDF format. 

FMGE Result Statistics:

A medical graduate will be given a pass certificate once they have passed the screening test and be counted in the FMGE results for the session in December 2022. To collect the pass certificate, aspirants need to visit the given venue.

• Original MBBS certificate
• FMGE admit card 2019
• Passport (Candidates excused if they earned their primary degree in Nepal)
• Original eligibility certificate issued by MCI
• Authentic & valid ID proof (Voter ID, PAN card, Driving License, Aadhaar card)

Candidates who have passed and qualified receive their certificates once the FMGE 2022 result is announced. To obtain their certificates, candidates must connect to the official website and check the day and time set by the official authorities for certificate collection.
